This is what we're dealin' with

The bottom fang is finally starting to move backwards into the space left by my amputated teeth.

Cheri: The braces will be on for 2 years. I'm 12 now, so I'll be 14 when they come off. My mouth almost always hurts. I can't chew meat. On a good day I can chew soft bread. I've been living on scrambled eggs, smoothies and soup. It's sure helped me lose more weight! My lips, tongue and cheeks are always torn up from the abrasion of the metal brackets. I try to make the best of it. At Xmas time I had green and red bands on the brackets. For New Years, I went with fireworks colors. I go back for another adjustment Feb. 2nd, so I'll be wearing pink and red bands on my brackets for Valentine's Day!
